9 Mobile Stations for the Turkish Gendarmerie General Command: We Completed the Fuel Automation Project Successfully

PetroDATA has successfully completed the fuel automation of 9 mobile stations for the Turkish Gendarmerie General Command. We explain the scope of the project and why mobile station automation matters.
A new reference: the Gendarmerie General Command
We are proud to announce another successfully completed project at PetroDATA: we delivered the fuel automation project for 9 mobile stations for the Gendarmerie General Command of Türkiye. This project is an important reference that shows how far our domestic engineering has come in field operations carried out by public institutions with high expectations for security and traceability.
Project summary
PetroDATA carried out this project on behalf of the contractor, İşpet Mühendislik Ltd. Şti.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Institution | Gendarmerie General Command |
| Contractor | İşpet Mühendislik Ltd. Şti. |
| PetroDATA's role | Fuel automation on behalf of the contractor |
| Scope | Fuel automation |
| Field structure | 9 mobile stations |
| Status | Successfully completed |
The technical architecture
Four components work together at every mobile station:
| Component | Role |
|---|---|
| Tank and pump monitoring | Continuous monitoring of tank level and pump activity by the automation |
| Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) probe | Precise measurement of the fuel level in the tank |
| Industrial dual Fuelsis pump | Durable dual-nozzle fuel dispensing |
| RFID reader | Automatic identification of the vehicle being refueled |
Communication between the pump and the automation runs over the Gilbarco protocol. As a result, every fill is recorded automatically with vehicle, quantity and time, and the change in tank level is compared with sales to reconcile stock.
Why does mobile station automation require its own expertise?
At a fixed station, infrastructure, power and connectivity conditions are relatively predictable. Mobile stations are different:
- Changing field conditions: Fuel dispensing equipment must work reliably in different locations and demanding conditions.
- Record integrity: Who refueled which vehicle, and how much, must be recorded reliably for every transaction.
- Stock visibility: Fuel stock spread across scattered points must be monitorable in a single structure.
- Central oversight: The movements of multiple stations must be comparable from the center.
PetroDATA's field automation approach addresses exactly these needs: automatic refueling records, authorized fuel dispensing, stock monitoring and central reporting.
Why domestic engineering matters in public projects
For public institutions, fuel management is not just a cost item; it is also a matter of accountability, auditability and operational continuity. Domestic software and hardware engineering offers a real advantage in fast support, tailor-made development and data sovereignty. PetroDATA's 100% domestic engineering is one of the main reasons it is trusted in projects like this.
